I'm Kat (she/they), a queer photographer & actor born and raised in Maine (with brief stops in London & Chicago).
Real talk: you have lots of options for super talented photographers. I'm honored you're considering working with me! I understand being in front of a camera can be intimidating, and I aim to boost you up through photoshoot experiences that feel fun and empowering.
STORYTELLING SERIES: BLOOD FRUIT
I always love collaborating with Mason. When they approached me with the idea of biting into super red fruit and having juice burst out like blood, I got very excited... and a full photoshoot concept came to mind.
Lots of fruit, a washable blood recipe, white picnic settings, and fun props later, we headed to a field and got weird.

Fall 2024 felt like a great time to take this series into a slightly more rage-filled dimension.
Savannah was down to get witchy and weird with me, so I styled a little area of my front yard and we had a cathartic time destroying a pumpkin.

I release session dates on a month-by-month basis around other production photography and personal theater work schedules. Due to a contract performing with Portland Stage, I am currently looking at booking very limited days in Sept through Oct 25, with much wider availability after Oct 25.
